Basalt heat-insulating BTSH cord consists of a core made of a cloth of ultra- and super-thin fibers from rock rocks - basalts, and braiding of the core with basalt roving.
Material advantages
- an environmentally friendly product with a natural stone formula;
- without binders, carcinogenic and toxic substances, the fibers have a long length and are connected to each other by the forces of natural cohesion;< /li>
- resistant to rodents and microorganisms;
- high heat resistance, non-flammability, temperature of permanent use - 700 °C, short-term use 900 °C;
- high durability, service life - 50 years;
- high chemical resistance to alkaline and acidic environments;
- the highest coefficient of sound absorption, one of the insulation used in missiles and submarines.
Areas of application of BTSH
Heat-insulating basalt cords braided from basalt roving are used for insulation of heat units and heat-conducting systems of general and special purpose in various branches of the national economy, operating at temperatures from - 260°C to + 700°C.
- civil and industrial construction (insulation of small-diameter pipelines, electrical insulation, used as a sealing heat-insulating element of thermal and heating equipment);
- gas and oil transportation (thermal insulation of small-diameter pipelines);
- heat and power networks of thermal power plants, thermal power plants, boiler houses (thermal insulation of small-diameter pipelines);
- NPP nuclear power plants (thermal and sound insulation of pipelines, electrical insulation, used as a sealing heat-insulating element of thermal and heating equipment);
- oil refining industry (thermal insulation of pipelines);
- shipbuilding;
- metallurgy (heat-insulating seals of pipelines, furnaces, equipment);
- food industry (as sealing materials).
