MKRPG-400 plates are made of refractory fiber of mullite-siliceous composition, which is produced by melting aluminum and silicon oxides in an electric furnace with subsequent fiber formation by blowing. To give the material strength, a clay binder is added to the fiber, the products are made by the method of vacuum pressing.
MKRPG-400 plates are a fairly strong and technological insulating material. They are easily cut, cut with a hacksaw, cut out the necessary shapes, glued with inorganic glues or fixed with metal fasteners. During installation, take into account possible linear and volume shrinkage during heating.
According to the customer's requirements, a hydrophorbising additive is introduced into the composition of the plate.
Properties
Fibrous plates MKRPG-400 are chemically resistant to the effects of acids and alkalis. When using at high temperatures, it is necessary to protect against the effects of concentrated alkalis, hydrofluoric and phosphoric acids.
Plates are more resistant to temperature effects in oxidizing and neutral environments.
In a reducing environment, thermal insulation properties decrease.
