Asbestos paper is a heat-insulating material used in various industries of the national economy and household appliances as a protective heat-insulating material for hot surfaces with a temperature of up to +500 °C.
Varieties of asbestos paper:
Asbestos paper BT (thermal insulation) BE asbestos paper (electrically insulating)
Asbestos paper BT (thermal insulation)
Heat-insulating paper (BT) must long-term retain the heat-insulating ability of surfaces with a temperature of up to 500°С from the external environment, do not release harmful gases into the environment, be resistant to aging, rotting and other biological effects;
Field of application of BT asbestos paper:
It is used in various industries of the national economy and household appliances as a protective heat-insulating material for hot (up to 500°C) surfaces. Depending on the field of application, the heat-insulating tool is made with a thickness of 0.65, 1.0, and 1.5 mm. Heat-insulating paper can be produced in rolls with a width of 600 mm, as well as in sheets with a length of 1000 mm and a width of 600 mm. , are also used as a lining material in the production of asbestos sheets for gaskets for internal combustion engines.
Produced according to GOST 23779-95.
BE asbestos paper (electrically insulating)
Electrical insulating asbestos paper (BE) is used as a protective insulating material in electrical machines and devices. To increase the electrical insulating properties of the device, the user can impregnate it with silicone-organic varnishes. Depending on the areas of application, asbestos paper is made with a thickness of 0.2, 0.3, 0.4 and 0.5 mm. In the electrotechnical industry, for their own needs, small quantities of electro-insulating tools of minimum thickness - up to 0.04 mm are manufactured according to technical conditions.
